Weave
Weave are a four-piece post punk band formed in Sheffield in 2024. Fusing elements of punk, grunge and shoe-gaze, Weave build layers of intricate guitars, melodic bass lines and driving drums. Weave are growing a reputation on the live circuit for their confident and energetic performances. Their debut EP “Live Static Broadcast” was released in January 2025.
“From the first riff of ‘Mist’ they carved their space with brooding post-punk grit grungy, raw, and immediate. Think early Joy Division with sharper edges. The crowd didn’t settle in they snapped to attention… …Weave lit the stage up. A set that moved with purpose, packed with texture, and full of intent. Post-punk, alt-indie, grunge they didn’t pick a lane. They made their own.” Echosounds review of Corporation (Sheffield) 6.6.25
Shortlisted for Best Unsigned Band – Exposed Magazine Awards 2025.
