Tiger Moth Tales & Dim Gray
The acclaimed Tiger Moth Tales and rising Norwegian stars Dim Gray are delighted to have teamed up for two UK shows in London and Sheffield in November this year. The two bands will be playing sets of equal lengths at each show.
Tiger Moth Tales, led by vocalist and multi-instrumentalist Pete Jones – also known for his work in Camel, Cyan and Francis Dunnery’s It Bites – will be performing as a quartet with a line-up completed by Andy Wilson (guitar), Paul Comerie (drums) and Gareth Cole (bass).
Dim Gray are fronted by Big Big Train keyboardist Oskar Holldorff and will also feature Håkon Høiberg (guitar), Milad Amouzegar (guitar/keyboards), Kristian Kvaksrud (bass) and Tom Ian Klungland (drums), with Holldorff and Høiberg sharing lead vocals.
Oskar Holldorff comments: “Dim Gray have previously supported Marillion and Big Big Train for a series of shows in the UK and we can’t wait to return. We’ll be playing a range of material, including from our third album Shards which we released earlier this year. Pete Jones did an amazing job playing a support slot at a Big Big Train show in Newark last year and it will be great to hear him play again, this time with a full band.”
Pete Jones adds: “I’m really looking forward to playing these two full Tiger Moth Tales band shows alongside Dim Gray. The two bands have contrasting styles which we know are going to combine to create a really compelling evening’s music. Whether you’re a fan of mine, Dim Gray or indeed Big Big Train, it should be a very memorable night out.”
