SKAM are Steve Hill (Guitar and Vocals), Matt Gilmore (Bass) and Neal Hill (Drums), a three piece, hard rock
band from Leicester, UK,
They have a reputation for delivering no nonsense, gutsy, classic sounding British rock music, played with
passion and conviction the band have steadily built a strong following throughout the UK. Having already
released 3 successful albums in 2011 (It’s Come To This), 2014 (Peacemaker) and 2017 (Live Album), SKAM
released their most ambitious album to date in 2017. ‘The Amazing Memoirs of Geoffrey Goddard’ is an album
based on the story of a World War 2 test pilot who is jolted through time in his prototype aircraft. The album
was released to widespread acclaim with Classic Rock saying the album contained ‘gritty anthemic rockers’
such as their lead single ‘Take it or Leave it’.
Seasoned road dogs, they have toured up and down the UK as well as gracing the stages of HRH, Wildfire,
Steelhouse & Ramblin Man Festivals to name a few. They have shared the stage with rock heavyweights such
as Airbourne, The Answer, Therapy?, and Skindred. SKAM deliver a hard hitting and well polished live show
and have a good pull of fans nationwide.
During the COVID 19 Lockdown period, SKAM have been performing fortnightly live streamed shows on
Facebook and Youtube, growing the profile and fanbase of the band even further. SKAM release part 1 of their
new double EP ‘INTRA’ on 26
th Feb 2021. The EP gained very positive reviews and the band managed to
reach number 6 in the Official UK Rock and Metal Album Charts. The band released part 2 ‘Venous’ in October
2021 and managed to reach number 5 in the UK Rock chart
